But wait, there's more! Last weekend, a box arrived here at the shelter. It was addressed to ME! But I have not ordered anything. I don't have any money. I don't really even know what money is, or why humans seem so obsessed with it. Anyhooo....Karen opened the box for me. Have I mentioned lately that Karen is my hero? She has coordinated the rescue of 1002 animals from our shelter in the past year. 1002!!! That is pretty impressive and if you see her or talk to her, you should let her know how amazing she is. She even drove 2 dogs and 5 cats from the shelter to rescues on Christmas Day! Ok so that's another blog story too. Back to me. And the box that came by mail.
What's in the box? What's in the box?!?
The box contained 5 pink balls...just like the one I lost! I was like OMG can this really be happening? I tore at the plastic wrap and bounced around the office for an hour. 5 MORE plastic pink squeaky balls?!? I wonder if someone saw my last post and searched that world wide web thingy and found them for me? Karen said a lot of people worked together to find me those pink balls. And they even made the trip from Singapore to the US! PawMart is awesome. There must be some super animal lovers all over the world. And that makes my heart happy.
Happiness is 5 more pink squeaky balls!!!
So, now to the title of this post. I don't want to seem ungrateful for the 5 pink balls from PawMart in Singapore. And Michele, and Gina, and Karen, and all the people who got them to me. It's been a huge bright spot for me, and has brought the smile back to my face. But it's now 2014, and I still need a home. I hoped it would happen last year. I am starting to wonder if something is wrong with me. Am I too short? Too fat? Too stubby? Too happy? Not happy enough? Too brown? Too desperate? I can only be me. And people have said that's the only thing you CAN be. Someone has to love me for who I am. And it's also been said that anyone would love me, if they would only give me a chance by meeting me in person. We can arrange that. It's super easy! Karen can help you meet me!
